NEMO House Rules

  • Black powder weapons cost will be reduced by ⅓ (rounded up) when roster building. Additionally we will use the advanced black powder rules (a 1 to hit incurs a roll on the black powder mishap chart)

  • Only 1 lucky rabbit foot, lucky charm, and holy/unholy relic per warband.

  • Hired swords Grade 1A may be hired at warband creation and during post game. Dramatis Personae from Grade 1A, Luthor Wolfenbaum, and Innominatus, the Tilean Gladiator, may be hired after the first match.

  • Large models taken OOA will roll on the Heroes Injury table during postgame.

Movement

Falling: Resolve the fall as normal. If the model does not suffer any wounds, the model may continue its turn as though it did not fall.

Combat

Shields - Shields provide an additional +1 Armour Save in Close combat if equipped in one hand. (total save value of +2).

Bucklers - Bucklers now provide a +1 Armour Save in Close combat if equipped in one hand.

Offhand attacks - choose one hand to fight with your normal attack characteristic. The other weapon(s) will become the offhand and any additional attacks gained are −1 to hit. (Things like mutations will have this applied after the first mutation. Example, if a model has a sword main hand, a dagger offhand, a great claw extra arm, and another normal extra arm. The sword is the main hand, the dagger is off hand. The sword will be normal attacks, dagger attacks will be at −1. The claw is the “main hand” mutation and attacks as normal. The other extra arm will be at −1 to hit.)

A new skill open to any hero is AMBIDEXTROUS which negates the rule above.

Advanced Critical Rules - Players are encouraged to use the Advanced Critical Rules from the back of the core rulebook.
